Impressive junior doctors to benefit from rural bursary

MDA National & RDAA #DestinationRural Bursary 2026

Five junior doctors with a passion for Rural Medicine have been awarded an important national Bursary which will assist four of them to attend the major Rural Medicine Australia (RMA26) conference in Tarndanya (Adelaide) in October, with the remaining recipient to undertake a rural psychiatry observership. The MDA National and RDAA #DestinationRural Bursary is offered to up to five junior doctors annually, with each receiving $1500 to assist with travel and accommodation costs in attending a rural medical conference or clinical placement.
