RDAA Board Director (Community representative) - voluntary position


The Rural Doctors Association of Australia (RDAA) Board is seeking expressions of interest from professionals with financial and corporate governance experience to join the Board.

This role is a voluntary position.

RDAA is a national body representing the interests of all rural medical practitioners and the communities where they live and work. Our vision is for rural and remote communities to have accessible, high quality health services provided by a medical workforce that is numerically adequate, located within the community it serves, and comprising doctors and other health professionals who have the necessary training and skills to meet the needs of those communities.

The term of the Community Representative Director will be up to 3 years.

The appointed Director will provide input into the strategic direction and advocacy for RDAA and provide the perspective of not only their own, but also a broad general rural community perspective.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.
